With a direct cremation friends and family gain the freedom to arrange their own personal memorial, separate to the cremation; this allows you to say goodbye exactly when and how you choose. It’s a modern alternative to the traditional funeral and increasingly growing in popularity. We have been offering these since 2007, probably before even the term was phrased.
What's Included
The cost of our unattended funerals includes doctor’s and cremation fees, simple eco-friendly coffin, transportation; collection of deceased & to crematorium. Easy options to complete the necessary paperwork in-person or online.
Collection
Collection of deceased by private ambulance from any local place of death 24/7*
Paperwork
A free local home visit to complete the necessary paperwork or arrangements in our office or on-line/post
A Simple Coffin
A simple cardboard coffin as standard or oak effect coffin depending on requirement **
Disbursement costs
Crematorium fee AND doctors cremation certificates if necessary
Cremated remains
The ashes can be returned free to any local address in a simple cardboard casket with cremation certificate; collected by applicant or scattered at the crematorium***
- “local” means any address in the Dover, Shepway, Ashford, Canterbury or Thanet districts. Please call for a price for collections further away.
- ** additional costs for bariatric deceased exceeding 134 kg / 21stones

We are a family owned and run funeral service covering ALL of Kent and beyond. Including Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Aylesham, Folkestone, Hawkinge, Hythe, New Romney, Ashford, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Thanet, Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate and everywhere in between.
