We had a very nice funeral. Paul arranged for a humanist to take the service and he was really excellent. The gentlemen who collected my dad from home had to come quite a long way. I was very pleased they were able to come straight away even though it was late afternoon and it meant they would have to come in the evening in the dark. They were very kind. At the funeral they helped my mum get to the graveside which was a bit challenging as it was up a hill, and it was muddy and she was in a wheelchair but all turned out well and we had in fact quite a cheery funeral. I liked the little commemorative pebble they sent in the post, its very sweet.
