Dover

When my Father passed away in October 2022, the majority of my dealings was with Paul. I always found him to be a very warm and friendly person who made me feel at ease. Paul and the service they provided was always professional, caring and sympathetic in every way, and nothing was too much trouble.
My Father wanted to have his funeral service at St Mary’s Church in Dover and he also wanted to be cremated. I felt that I wanted my Father to leave from his home in Eastry as this was his last journey, and I also wanted my Father’s ashes to be buried rather than scattered. Paul communicated with the minister at the church and it was possible to have my Father’s ashes buried at St Mary’s Church graveyard which was even better than I had hoped for, as my Father’s foster parents were also buried there. All what I wanted was arranged smoothly and easily which took a big weight off my mind.
On the day everything was perfect, from leaving from my Father’s home and the service at the church which was beautiful. My Father was cremated via Direct Cremation, and then later on my Father’s ashes were buried at the church graveyard which Paul did along with the church minister. Everything was done in a professional, caring and sympathetic way – I could not have wished for more.
There are some really lovely extras with Sullivans and Sons because they also give two keepsakes which is a little card “In Loving Memory of” with my Father’s name and the dates, and a beautiful little polished stone with my Father’s name and the dates on it, which I thought was a beautiful extra touch. Thank you so much for everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
